Ms. Priya TambeThe main objective of the webinar was to make participants aware about Do’s and Don’ts for resume preparation. The webinar was mainly organised for final year students to help them in the placement process. Samples formats of resume and cv, details of sections to be included etc. were discussed. Tips to make resume attractive and precise were given. Along with it, how to project personal detailed information on social media platforms for jobs like LinkedIn etc was elaborated and demonstrated with few examples. Participants shared the resume prepared by them and discussed the changes to be made so as to make it precise and attractive. The session ended with Q&A session.

Electrical EngineeringThe speaker explained about Resume preparation, Group discussion, HR Rounds, new Online Recruitment Process & resources available for preparation and many more. Guidelines were given for Online resources for interview preparations. He gave a checklist of do’s and don’ts of answers of various questions asked during a personal interview. He also highlighted the importance of dress code (as per the requirement of the company). He gave insights about how to prepare oneself for an interview and to prepare responses to few likely asked questions like your strengths, weaknesses, accomplishments, goals, etc. This webinar was very informative and interactive. The students were able to know about the company’s actual expectations from students and how students can prepare themselves for higher studies.
The session concluded with a question answer session. An online feedback form was sent to participants, positive feedback was received for the webinar and they suggested to organise more sessions like the same in the future. All the participants were provided with an E certificate.

Computer EngineeringMr. Amit is working as Agile Delivery Lead/Agile Coach and also plays various roles like Program Manager, Senior Scrum Master, Project Manager, Technical Lead, BA, Java Developer for Cloud Transformation, DevOps, AEM Java & Web. His proven leadership & facilitation skills enable him to mentor geographically distributed & co-located teams to become cross functional & self-organized. He is expert at driving the adoption & enforcement of Agile & Scrum Values based multi-million $ projects.
Total 54 students and faculty have participated the session. The expert commenced the session by explaining What is Agile Methodology, Agile Framework, Why do we need Agile, Who doesn’t need agile, Agile Manifesto. He gave our students insights about how Scrum Framework works. He also told how XP practices complement Scrum. The expert explained difference between Waterfall model and Kanban Model. The main objective of the webinar was to make participants aware about agile methodology adopted in industry, Scrum process, Career Opportunities and certification available in agile field which participants understood by end of the session.
The session ended with Question Answer and vote of thanks by Mr. Rahul Kapse. Feedback link was sent to the participants and E-Certificate was mailed to their registered mail ids. Positive feedback was received from participants.

Webinar on “Recent Trends in Embedded Systems”
A Webinar on “Recent Trends in Embedded Systems” was organized by Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering for T.E. and B.E. of all engineering disciplines on 4th August, 2021.
Mr. Mrugendra Vasmatkar, Assistant Professor, VES Institute of Technology, Chembur was invited as guest speaker for the session. Ms. Neha Shivhare organized the event.
In this session, architecture and compliers for STM 32 and MSP 430 etc. were discussed in details by the expert. Along with it, how to identify good topic for skill lab projects, recent trends and sample domains that can be considered for project work etc points were discussed.
Total 30 students of T.E. and B.E. attended this session. Students found this session very informative. The session ended with Q&A and discussion on project. Students who attended webinar were awarded certificate on successful submission of feedback. The session ended with vote of thanks from Dr. Mansi Subhedar, Head, Department of E&TC Engineering.

Quiz Competition on “Verbal and Non-Verbal Aptitude”
Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering had successfully conducted an online “Quiz Competition on Verbal and Non-Verbal Aptitude” on 2nd August, 2021.
Quiz competition was conducted using Google form online platform. A total of 18 students attempted the quiz successfully. The quiz had 20 questions of 1 mark each. The quiz was coordinated by Mr. Jayesh Rane.

Coding Club is from the Department of Computer Engineering. The event was coordinated by Mrs. Babita Bhagat and organized by Rishikesh Tekavade. The speaker of the workshop was Rohan Kumar. A total of 12 participants were present.
