Pillai HOC College of Engineering and Technology has developed a Language Lab designed to enhance language skills. The Language laboratory is an audio-visual installation used in modern teaching method to improve and enhance the equality of communication to meet required standards. The Laboratory at PHCET consists of a serve and Twenty five computers for the learners with a master console for the instructor. The language lab is equipped with Orell Digital Language Lab (ODLL) software that consists of English module, Aptitude module, Vocabulary building module, Foreign Language and Soft skills module. ODLL is a conscientiously created language learning software solution. The interactive and cost-effective language learning platform is effective and simple to use. It is a technological breakthrough for imparting skills in English. The lab offers an exclusive result oriented and efficient way to enrich the English language learning. Students who are weak in English Communication skills are identified by the faculty and a task is assigned to the students to practice in language lab. The faculty and students, if interested can come to the language lab and work on the above modules.

The Language Lab provides:
