    The event on Hydrogen Energy: Challenges and Opportunities by Dr Vishaka Gajghate successfully enhanced participants (All FE Students) understanding of hydrogen as a clean and sustainable energy source.     Event ObjectiveThe objective of this event was to introduce the project theme, clarify expected learning outcomes, and explain roles and evaluation methods. It helps students understand the scope, build teamwork, and prepare for successful execution in a short, guided format.
    Event OutcomeEvent was highly positive, as students gained a clear understanding of the objectives, expectations, and process involved in completing their mini-projects. The session helped students develop awareness about selecting relevant and innovative project topics, planning project phases effectively, and working collaboratively in teams.

    Contents Covered:

    The Mini Project Orientation program was conducted to provide SE students with a clear understanding of the objectives, guidelines, and expectations of the mini-project. The session highlighted the importance of applying theoretical knowledge to solve real-world problems through practical implementation. Students were guided on selecting appropriate and innovative project topics based on current technologies and personal interests, as well as forming teams to encourage collaboration and equal participation. The orientation also explained the various stages of project development, including idea finalization, requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing, and documentation. Dr.Rajashree Gadhave ,HOD ,Computer Engineering Department introduced to make use of suitable technologies such as programming languages, web development platforms, and IoT systems. Clear instructions regarding report writing, plagiarism avoidance, and evaluation criteria—such as creativity, technical skills, presentation, and teamwork—were provided by Ms.Snehal Chitale , SE Miniproject Coordinator. The faculty Ms.Shrutika Khobragade shared several valuable and inspiring insights, highlighting the importance of choosing innovative yet practical project ideas, maintaining well-structured and plagiarism-free documentation, and following a systematic approach throughout the development process.Overall, the session was informative and helped students gain clarity, confidence, and motivation to successfully complete their mini-projects.

    The NeuroNexus workshop provided participants with a strong conceptual foundation in deep learning and neural networks. Students gained insights into neural network architecture, training processes, and optimization techniques. Exposure to modern AI tools such as Hugging Face helped participants understand how pre-trained models are used in real-world applications. The workshop sparked interest in artificial intelligence and encouraged students to pursue further learning, projects, and research in deep learning and AI-driven technologies.

    CSI-PHCET successfully organized NeuroNexus, an online workshop focused on Deep Learning and Neural Networks, catering to students interested in artificial intelligence and emerging technologies. The workshop was designed to be accessible to beginners while also offering valuable insights for participants seeking to expand their knowledge of modern AI frameworks.

    The session was conducted by Mr. Ganesh Naik, who began by explaining the evolution of artificial intelligence and the role of neural networks in solving complex problems. He provided a clear overview of how deep learning models mimic human cognitive processes and are applied in areas such as image recognition, natural language processing, and predictive analytics.

    Mr. Naik introduced participants to the core concepts of neural networks, including neurons, layers, activation functions, and training mechanisms. He explained how neural networks are designed and optimized using training data and how performance improves through iterative learning.

    The workshop further covered designing and training neural networks, where the speaker discussed model architecture, loss functions, and optimization techniques. Practical examples helped participants understand how neural networks are implemented and fine-tuned for real-world scenarios.

    The MERGEMANIA workshop successfully equipped participants with foundational knowledge of Git and GitHub for version control and collaborative software development. Students learned to create and manage repositories, work with branches, handle merges, and resolve merge conflicts effectively. The workshop strengthened participants’ understanding of real-world development workflows and improved their confidence in collaborating on group projects, hackathons, and open-source platforms. The session prepared students to adopt professional coding practices essential for internships and industry projects.

    CSI-PHCET successfully organized MERGEMANIA, an interactive online workshop focused on Git and GitHub, designed for aspiring developers at all levels. The workshop addressed the growing need for version control skills in academic projects, internships, and industry-based software development.

    The session was conducted by Mr. Hemant Bhatt, who guided participants through both conceptual understanding and practical usage of Git and GitHub. He began the workshop by explaining the importance of version control systems and how Git has become an industry standard for managing codebases and enabling team collaboration.

    Mr. Bhatt introduced the fundamentals of Git and GitHub, clearly differentiating between local version control and cloud-based repository management. He explained how developers can create and manage repositories, track changes, and maintain code history efficiently.

    A major focus of the workshop was on branching and merging strategies, where participants learned how multiple developers can work on the same project simultaneously without conflicts. The speaker demonstrated real-world workflows involving feature branches, commits, and merges, helping students understand collaborative development practices.

    The session also covered pull requests and team collaboration, explaining how code reviews and approvals contribute to maintaining code quality. Additionally, Mr. Bhatt discussed merge conflicts, their causes, and practical techniques to resolve them effectively.     The INFOVATE workshop enabled participants to gain a practical understanding of Power BI and business intelligence concepts. Students developed the ability to connect multiple data sources, clean and transform data, and create meaningful visual dashboards. The session enhanced participants’ analytical thinking and data interpretation skills, helping them understand the role of data visualization in decision-making. Overall, the workshop increased awareness of industry-relevant analytics tools and motivated students to explore data-driven roles and certifications.

    CSI-PHCET successfully organized INFOVATE, an online workshop focused on Power BI, aimed at enhancing students’ understanding of data analytics and visualization techniques. The workshop was designed to cater to beginners as well as students who wished to explore business intelligence tools relevant to industry applications.

    The session was conducted by Mr. Sourabh Gokave, who brought practical insights and clarity to the topic through a structured and hands-on approach. He began the workshop with an introduction to Business Intelligence (BI) and explained the growing importance of data-driven decision-making across various industries such as finance, healthcare, marketing, and technology.

    Mr. Gokave introduced participants to the basics of Power BI, explaining its architecture and key components such as Power BI Desktop, datasets, reports, and dashboards. He provided a guided walkthrough of the Power BI interface, familiarizing students with its workspace, visualization panels, and data modelling features.

    A significant portion of the session focused on connecting multiple data sources, including Excel files and structured datasets. Participants learned how to import data, clean and transform it, and prepare it for analysis. The speaker emphasized best practices in data preparation to ensure accuracy and consistency in reports.

    Further, Mr. Gokave explained data visualization best practices, demonstrating how to select appropriate charts, graphs, and visuals to effectively communicate insights. He highlighted the importance of clarity, minimalism, and user-centric dashboard design while showcasing real-time examples.

    The workshop maintained a high level of interaction, with participants actively engaging through questions and discussions. The speaker addressed common doubts related to Power BI usage, career relevance, and industry expectations. Students gained practical exposure to creating meaningful visual reports and understood how Power BI can be applied in real-world analytical scenarios.

    Event OutcomePerformance evaluation for BCA Students

    The Parent–Teacher Meeting for OSAY 2025–26 was organized by the Department of Computer Application on Monday, 24th November 2025.

    The agenda of the Parents and Teachers Meeting was as follows:

    • Discuss Module Test 1 & 2 marks and Internal Assessment-I results.
    • Discuss attendance of students till mid-term.
    • Encourage parents to motivate students to participate in Co-curricular and extracurricular activities.

    Contents Covered:

    • Principal, Dr. J. W. Bakal, addressed the gathering with a warm welcome and expressed appreciation to all parents for attending the meeting. He highlighted various aspects of the teaching–learning process and emphasized the institute’s commitment to academic excellence.The meeting started with an interaction session of parents with our beloved Principal Dr. Jagdish W. Bakal Sir address regarding activities which will be covered during the semester and flow of examination activities. 60 total parents attended the meeting from BCA.
    • Head of the Department, Prof.Abhijeet More, spoke about the initiatives undertaken by the department for the technical and overall development of students. he discussed the performance in Internal Assessment–I and reviewed attendance. Parents raised queries related to lectures, assignments, and the placement efforts by the department and institute, which were addressed during the session.
    • Later the schedule was conducted by covering the activities listed in agenda by the Class Advisor (CAs) and respective subject in charges of the classes. Attendance, Module Test 1 & 2 marks and Internal Assessment-1 results were shown to parents and progress of students was discussed. At the end of the session parents filled the Parents feedback form and survey form to express their views. Parents gave excellent feedback for the teaching learning process, accessibility of Teacher/HOD/Principal, infrastructure facilities, learning resources such as library, internet and support services like career counselling, placement etc. Parents were satisfied with the activities and teaching-learning process followed in the department.
    • The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks on behalf of the department, assuring parents that such interactions will be organized regularly. Parents shared positive feedback, appreciating the efforts of the institute and the department toward shaping their ward’s bright future.
