Informative session conducted by the expert. Expert shared views on following points which was very helpful to manage stress level in human.as every human experiences stress in their life. This stress can lead to many problems, particularly depression. Stress can increase a person’s heart beat rate, blood pressures, Cortisol level and various other parameters. There are conventional methods to reduce stress i.e. by consuming antibiotic medicine. But this method might have side effects. The other way which may be used to reduce stress is by listening to musical ragas. This is known as music therapy. Music therapy helps a person to calm down his brain waves. This in turn would reduce stress of a person and consequently all the parameters of stress i.e. heartbeat, blood pressure, Cortisol level might also reduce. To confirm whether music therapy is effective on stress we would use the concept of IOT (Internet of Things). IOT is a concept in which machine interact with the human world. This interaction is possible due to sensors. In our project we would use sensors to measure the parameters of stress. This would help to keep track of person’s record in real time.

The session ended with a vote of thanks by Ms. Monisha Mohan, faculty of Information Technology Department.
