PHCET > Comp FDP > One Week Faculty Development Program on “Data Science”

Department of Computer Engineering and Information Technology of Pillai HOC College of Engineering and Technology organized One Week Faculty Development Program on “Data Science” under the Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya National Mission for Teachers and Teaching (PMMMNMTT), Government of India in association with Shivaji University, Kolhapur. It was scheduled from 1st to 7th July, 2019. This course provides comprehensive Data Science (Rubics) training for those who prefer to come up to speed on building Data Science capabilities. The prerequisites is the rapid pace of this class favors those who learn new concepts quickly, or have previous experience with Data Analysis along with basic knowledge of Statistics. Data Science is a blend of various tools, algorithms, and machine learning principles with the goal to discover hidden patterns from the raw data. Data Science is an interdisciplinary field, data science deals with processes and systems, that are used to extract knowledge or insights from large amounts of data. Data extracted can be either structured or unstructured. Data science is a continuation of data analysis fields like data mining, statistics, predictive analysis.
