INTRODUCTION :
The session on “Placement Orientation Program” was organized by the Training and Placement Cell of PHCET College to provide engineering students with knowledge regarding upcoming placement. The session aimed to make student aware of placement process followed by companies.
OBJECTIVE :
To make aware all students about upcoming placement in academic year, training required for placements.
COURSE CONTENT / DESCRIPTION :
Preparation for campus recruitment.
Awareness regarding training programs and placement activities.
Awareness among students regarding corporate world, difficulties and challenges in corporate culture.
Importance of communication in order to excel in group discussion process.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION :
The session on “Placement Orientation Program” was organized by the Training and Placement Cell of PHCET College to provide engineering students with knowledge regarding upcoming placement.
In this orientation session, speaker discussed important topics like aptitude, reasoning and coding abilities that student need to possess during placement drives. The speaker stress about how to set and improve self-assessment, learning research on latest trends in career, how to set career objective, learning and improve technical skills, communication skills, how to design perfect CV for jobs.
Speaker told students about various new platforms like superset, introduced by many companies for placement assessment. Students were enlightened towards various coding platforms, online assessment rules introduced by companies during campus placement.
In this session, students were very interested to listen upcoming placement opportunities, overall, all the students were very satisfied from this session.
The event aimed to guide and empower students regarding various upcoming activities, skills & technical knowledge required to excel in placement drives.
CONCLUSION :
The session on “Placement Orientation Program” was a highly beneficial event for students, offering valuable industry insights, placement procedures.
