Prof Suma Lalit highlighted that In a rapidly changing educational environment, adaptability and continuous learning are crucial. Faculty members with well-developed soft skills are better equipped to handle diverse classrooms, integrate new teaching methods, and foster holistic student development. Overall, soft skill development strengthens professional competence and enhances the quality of education. The session was informative and interactive with series of example.
Prof Poonam also emphasis that for faculty members, strong communication and interpersonal skills help in delivering concepts clearly, engaging students, and creating a positive classroom environment. Skills such as empathy, active listening, and conflict management enable teachers to understand student needs and respond effectively to challenges. Participant feedback was gathered at the end of the session to evaluate its effectiveness.
