Workshop on “Career Guidance – Experts Discussion with IIT Bombay M.Tech. Professionals”

An Online Workshop on “Career Guidance – Experts Discussion with IIT Bombay M.Tech. Professionals” was conducted on 25th April, 2021. Total 65 students attended this workshop. Mr. Swapnil Ghandhi, Mr. Vaibahav, Mr. Nelson from IIT Bombay, Department of Energy science and Engineering were the resource persons for this workshop.

Workshop was conducted on Online Google meet platform. This workshop was designed to assist students in better career decision making by identifying their potential. They shared their experiences of GATE preparation and IIT (M.Tech.) interview point of view. Since all speakers were placed through campus interview, they have shared their Industry interaction experience to help the students to choose appropriate subject and area to set their career path associated with their interest. Mr. Swapnil shared his knowledge and spoke about how to prepare for GATE and various career connected to it. Mr. Vaibahav shared his experience on how to meet the challenges in the real world to achieve in the field of Electrical Engineering. Mr Nelson spoke about job opportunities in three different areas; one was Core electrical area and other two were IT and Finance sectors.
