The Department of Computer Engineering organized the Women’s Day Celebration in collaboration with the Computer Department Student’s Council and Abhudaya Club with great enthusiasm to honor the achievements and contributions of women in society, education, and technology. The event began with a welcome address by Dr.Rajashree Gadhave ,HOD Computer Engineering Department highlighting the significance of International Women’s Day and the importance of empowering women through education and equal opportunities.
The celebration featured motivational speeches by faculty members, student presentations on inspiring women personalities, cultural performances, and interactive activities including quizzes and games. Participants enthusiastically shared thoughts on women leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs whose achievements continue to inspire future generations.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks and appreciation for all participants and organizers, followed by a small felicitation of women faculty members.The Women’s Day Celebration successfully created awareness about gender equality and women’s empowerment while fostering a positive and inclusive environment within the department.
