The main objective of the webinar is to get brief idea about new concept of WAMS and its application in power system. Prof. Aamir Shaikh introduced the Speaker and Session started.

The guest made the session very interactive. She has started the session with basic concept of power system. She gave detailed history and overview of National Grid with their MW capacity and also, the HVAC, HVDC transmission system detailed overview. Then she shifted the presentation towards introduction of WAMS, its significance and application in power system. The concept of WAMS and PMUs were explained with application in power system protection. The session was really informative and students gained the knowledge of new area WAMS which will help them for selecting Project topic in future. The session was carried out through the online Google Meet platform around 65 Students and faculty participated enthusiastically.
