Speaking skills are vitally important methods of communication. Speaking clearly and confidently can gain the attention of an audience, providing the opportunity for the speaker to make the message known. Wise is the speaker who gains and then holds the attention of an audience, with well-chosen words in a well-delivered presentation, forming a message that is effective, informative and understood. And without communication skills, the ability to progress in the working world and in life, itself would be nearly impossible.

This event was organized by the Students’ Council of Computer Engineering Department to provide a platform for students to showcase their talent. It also helped the students to develop skills in research, critical thinking, organization, persuasion and communication. So, through this contest, student’s confidence & skills got boosted.
There were 8 students who actively participated while learning and understanding the importance of communication skills under the guidance of our judge Mrs. Neetu Pillai, a faculty from the Department of Computer Engineering.
