The One Day Seminar was organized by Department of Electrical Engineering and it commenced at 10:00 a.m. on 26th August, 2019 in the 6th Floor, Seminar Hall. Prof. Ronita Pawn introduced the speaker Mr. S. K. Mahajan, Principal-TPSDI Shahad. He is having vast experience in the field of Power Transmission & Distribution as well as Operations areas. The Head of the Department, Ms. Pranita Chavan felicitated the speaker.

The guest speaker enlightened all the participants with career related opportunities in power sector. He explained various electrical courses required for students to improve their technical skills. Apart from curriculum, specialised training is must to secure challenging position in competitive world.

The Tata Power Skill Development Institute (TPSDI) is an endeavour from the Tata Power Company to empower youth and others with employable skills, especially in the Power and allied sectors and to address the skill gap challenge faced by the Indian Power Sector. The Institute provides modular training and certification across a wide range of employable skills.

  • Jojobera – Jamshedpur, Jharkhand
  • Delhi – in collaboration with CENPIED, TPDDL, this is a leading Institute in the electricity distribution area.
