Industry-Academic Meet on “One Step at a Time: Bridging the Gap Between Academic and Industry”

PHCET > IT Seminars & Workshops > Industry-Academic Meet on “One Step at a Time: Bridging the Gap Between Academic and Industry”

Academics and Industrialists have a different mindset; as they both live in two different worlds. Deepening of Industry-Academic-Interaction has potential to enhance the quality of teaching and research in the institutes and production output and processes in the industry. Industry experience should be tilled back into the education system continuously for improving the curriculum and vice-versa, to build future leaders of the nation. There is an ever increasing focus on making the academic and industry interface more effective. Though academic and industrial entities hold different values and are motivated by different incentives, one key to overcome the many obstacles to a successful interaction is to better understand the two worlds and work on reconcilable factors.
