There is a only thing which can’t be made by anyone or there is no substitute for that, is Blood. A single donation can save three lives as well as one donation can provides up to four units of plasma for patients in need. As we all aware of importance of donating blood. Keeping this in mind the NSS unit of Pillai HOC College of Engineering and Technology, Rasayani has conducted a Blood Donation Camp in association with Shree Sai Blood Bank, old panvel on 29th June, 2021. The slogan for the camp was “A drop for you, an ocean for someone else”.
The camp has begun at 9.30 AM and ceased at 3.00 PM. 13 NSS volunteers volunteered for the event and also donated the blood. Total 16 units of blood has been collected, blood bags collected were given to Shree Sai Blood Bank, old panvel. After donating blood, the donors were provided with immediate help by NSS volunteers by giving them tea, coffee, fruity and banana. The blood donors were provided with a blood donation certificate. The blood donation camp was co-ordinated by Mrs. Rekha Dhawan, NSS co-ordinator of PHCET.

This was 2nd camp in this academic year conducted by NSS unit of Pillai HOC College of Engineering and Technology, Rasayani. 1st was organized on 26th January 2021 on the occasion of Republic Day at Sawale village, panvel, raigad.
