The program began with the Opening and Welcome Address, where the host welcomed the respected dignitaries, guest speaker, faculty members, and students. This was followed by the Prof. Rahul Kapse HOD of Information Technology Address’s, where the Head of the Department emphasized the importance of understanding corporate expectations and encouraged students to actively participate in such career-oriented sessions. Then respected Dr. Jagdish W. Bakal Principal of PHCET Address further highlighted the significance of developing employability skills, professional behaviour, and strong communication abilities to succeed in today’s competitive job market.
As a gesture of appreciation, the institution conducted the Felicitation of the Speaker, presenting a token of gratitude for sharing professional knowledge and experience with the students.
The core segment of the event was the Keynote Session: Career Talk with HR, where the speaker Ms. Veronica Farnendes Head HR of Reva Technologies discussed the functions of HR departments, recruitment and selection processes, resume preparation, LinkedIn profile building, and effective interview techniques. The session also covered important aspects such as corporate etiquette, workplace expectations, and professional ethics that students should follow in corporate environments.
Following the keynote session, an Interactive Q&A Session was conducted where students had the opportunity to ask questions related to career development, hiring practices, interview preparation, and industry requirements. The discussion helped clarify many doubts and provided practical guidance to students for their future careers.
The event concluded with the Vote of Thanks and Closing, where gratitude was expressed to the speaker, principal, HOD, faculty members, organizing team, and students for making the program successful.
Overall, the session successfully enhanced students’ understanding of HR practices and corporate culture. It also helped them learn how to prepare professional resumes, improve interview communication skills, apply corporate etiquette, and identify industry expectations to plan their career development effectively.
