To introduce the fundamentals, significance, and various types of UML diagrams along with their specific applications in software engineering.
To demonstrate how UML improves system design, documentation, and communication, and to familiarize students with tools and techniques for creating UML diagrams.

Students will develop a solid understanding of UML structures and diagram types and will be able to apply them effectively during the analysis and design phases of software development.
Students will gain familiarity with professional modeling tools and will be able to visualize and document system architecture using appropriate UML concepts.

An expert lecture on UML diagrams for third year students was successfully held on August 18, 2025 with a total of around 170 students. The event commenced with an address by Dr. Rajashree Gadhave, Head of the Computer Department, provided an insightful overview of UML diagrams and how UML diagrams are important in Project Development. Prof. Abhijeet More conducted an in-depth session on UML. He explained the fundamental concepts and various types of UML diagrams. The session provided students with a clear and detailed understanding of UML applications.
