Online Parent Teacher meeting was organized by Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Rasayani on 18th September, 2021. Dr. Mansi Subhedar, Head of the Department started the meeting and presented a brief review of department activities.
Prof. Rekha Dhawan, BE CC started her speech with warm welcome and appreciation to parents for attending the Online Parents Meet. 20 parents along with their wards and all EXTC faculty attended online Parent Teacher Meeting. She briefed Parents regarding department activities and online sessions. She also introduced all class teachers of respective classes to the parents. Parents were informed about the efforts taken by the department for technical as well as overall development of students by providing them in-house facilities. She also guided parents regarding examination assessment and conduction of the academic activities during the COVID-19 situation.
Class teachers for B.E. and T.E., Ms. Rekha Dhawan and Ms. Pooja Shukre respectively explained the efforts taken by the Subject-In-Charges for conducting the online lectures on the platform of Google Meet. They encouraged parents to ask their queries and solved them with proper guidance. Parents cleared their queries regarding the lectures, assignments, recruitment efforts by department and institute.
Training and placement coordinator Ms. Priya Tambe explained the T & P related activities along with the placement record of the previous academic year. She also explained how faculty are taking efforts to prepare students for upcoming recruitment drives in 2021.
Meeting was closed with a vote of thanks on behalf of the department. CCs assured parents about organizing such interactions on frequent basis. Parents reported their feedback using google form. Meeting ended with vote of thanks by TE CC, Ms. Pooja Shukre.
