Every year National Kart Racing Championship organizes Go-Kart Championship in order to check the testimonials of engineering students Virtual is motorsports. Our college every academic year encourages student to participate in outside Championship program.

Academic year 2016-17 our college are participated in Go-Kart championship program. Our Department of Automobile Engineering and Department of Mechanical Engineering constitute group of 25 student to organize, co-ordinate and participate in Go-kart championship.

In this program student are designed and fabricated Car without suspension (ground clearance is less than 3 inches). This work was published in research paper journal named Journal of Material Science and Mechanical Engineering (JMSME) (August 2017). Then team was selected in virtual round of competition so further manufacturing of kart was started and real task of manufacturing started.

The competition was held in Bhopal, RPM race circuit dated 30th September to 3rd October, 2017. The team was qualified for Technical inspection and entered in pre-qualifying rounds of race. Our kart successfully cleared braking and acceleration test followed by skid pad test and traction test. Then among 200 teams from all over India, 50 teams were qualified for final race and we were among them, the only team from Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. In final race we qualified in first round in first 25 teams. Total budget for this Go-kart was Approximately Three Lakhs (including transportation charges) out of that our college funded us Rs. 35,000/- (Thirty five thousand rupee) for Transportation.
