The Department of Information Technology inaugurated the ISTE Student Chapter on Monday 11th April, 2022. The event was inaugurated by honourable Chief guest ISTE National Executive Council Member- Dr. S. K. Ukarande in the presence of PHCET Principal- Dr. J. W. Bakal, Pillai HOCL Campus CEO and Principal PHCASC- Dr. Lata Menon, Head IT Department- Dr. Divya Chirayil and all other Heads of the Departments. Around 150 students from various Departments participated in the inauguration event.
ISTE Student Chapter forum for PHCET was initiated to make the student community actively participate in ISTE activities and to provide a common platform for students to exhibit the talent to shape their career development and to get excellent position in the Society. ISTE student chapter with the objective to consistently organize technical events like workshops, hands on training and special lectures in cutting edge technologies for Students to expand their knowledge by attending these events of advance technologies. Currently 101 students have registered under ISTE student chapter.
