Community Service Day 2017-18

Pillai HOC College of Engineering and Technology, Rasayani conducted an event “Community Service Day – 2018” in which our volunteers i.e. students and staff actively participated in the event. The college invited a NGO from Immanuel Mercy Home Ashram located at Chiple, Sukhapur, New Panvel (Total No. of children’s = 23) and Aroma Kids Kingdom, Turbhe, Navi Mumbai (Total No. of children’s = 40). In the morning students and staff picked up the children’s from the orphanage. Children from NGO was brought to the campus and fed with nutritious food. Later the staff and students of the college joined them in entertainment activities such as drawing competition, singing, dance performances, Instrumental music were organized by the students as well as faculty. Dr. Chelpa Lingam (Principal, PHCET Rasayani) & Dr. Shrikant Charhate (Dean, PHCET Rasayani) felicitated and shared words with the Children from NGO. In the evening, the children’s were provided snacks. In the end children’s and accompanying caretaker was provided with token of love and mementos.
