Department of Electronics and Computer Science organized Alumni Meet, a program to facilitate, consolidate and coordinate Alumni Activities on 25th March, 2023. Alumni meet helps to reconnect with the alumni and celebrate their success and various achievements.
The occasion was graced by alumni ranging across various batches from various parts of the country working in different fields. Head of the Department Dr. Mansi Subhedar welcomed all the alumni. Principal Dr. J. W. Bakal addressed alumni and highlighted the changes in infrastructure, teaching learning processes and efforts for trainings and placement process. Alumni had a good interaction among their peers and teachers and also with their juniors. They gave suggestions on how to look for jobs after graduation and also talked about the importance of courses that would help them while searching for jobs. Students asked questions regarding placements and the alumni shared their views. All were happy to meet their teachers and had a wonderful time cherishing their college days. Some of the alumni expressed their views about the college and their memories through videos. Various fun events and performances like singing and dancing were arranged by PHCET.
Ms. Priya Tambe, coordinated entire event. Feedback was collected from alumni regarding the organizational aspects of the Meet and their suggestions for improvement in professional training at PHCET. The Alumni Meet closed on a very emotional note. Everyone appreciated the efforts of the student council in organizing this meet. Everyone departed with the resolve to meet again and spread the message amongst all who could not visit this time.
