The Pillai HOC College of Engineering and Technology held a Workshop on “Machine Learning” for T.E. students on Saturday, 16th March, 2019 under ACM Student Chapter.

The workshop was formally inaugurated by Dr. Ashok Kanthe (Head of Department) of Computer Engineering Department and all other faculty members. The speaker for the day was Mr. Afrid Shaikh, experienced in TCS and currently working as a Jav Developer in Royal Bank of Canada.
The workshop had altogether 2 sessions through which the speaker presented the basics of machine learning. It was a very interactive session where the students asked queries to the speaker who indeed cleared all their doubts. The workshop was very helpful in inculcating a positive attitude towards machine learning among the students. It was seen that the students developed more interest towards it as the session progressed
