Simulation is the basic and initial steps in any electrical based industry. Simulating a circuit’s behavior before actually building it can greatly improve design efficiency by making faulty designs known as such, and providing insight into the behavior of electronics circuit designs.

Workshop was conducted on Online Zoom meeting Platform.

Speakers briefed students various electrical simulation softwares and the importance of them. They are also mentioned that the aim of the workshop is to improve student’s career prospects in electrical network and simulations.

In online workshop following content was covered.

  • DC analysis (DC Operating Point Analysis calculates the behavior of a circuit when a DC voltage or current is applied to it.)
  • AC analysis (AC Analysis is used to calculate the small-signal response of a circuit In AC Analysis, the DC operating point is first calculated to obtain linear, small-signal models for all nonlinear components.)
  • Transient Analysis (Transient analysis is the analysis of the circuits during the time it changes from one steady state condition to another steady state condition.)
  • Hands-on practice of Everycircuit in Android platform
