The Department of Information Technology, Pillai HOC College of Engineering and Technology organized a project competition and poster presentation “Tech Vision 2024” for BE students on 3rd April, 2024 under ISTE Student Chapter. The event commenced at 11:00 a.m. in the Project Lab IT department, with an enthusiastic turnout of students, faculty members, and industry professionals. The day-long event consisted of two main components: poster presentations and project demonstrations.

Each poster highlighted the objectives, methodologies, results, and conclusions of the respective projects. Judges comprising faculty members and industry experts evaluated the posters based on criteria such as innovation, technical merit, clarity of presentation, and the potential impact of the research. Participants enthusiastically engaged with the judges, discussing their projects in detail and answering questions. Students demonstrated their projects to judges and attendees, providing insights into the development process, technical challenges faced, and the practical applications of their work. The projects covered diverse domains, including web development, mobile applications, IoT (Internet of Things) solutions, and more.

Judges evaluated the projects based on criteria such as technical complexity, functionality, user experience, innovation, and potential real-world impact. Participants demonstrated excellent problem-solving skills, creativity, and a deep understanding of IT principles and technologies. The day concluded with an award ceremony at 4:30 p.m., where winners of the poster presentation and project competition were announced. The top-performing 3 teams and individuals received certificates, and cash prizes as tokens of recognition for their outstanding achievements. The event was coordinated by Ms. Rupali Sathe and Ms. Trapti Soni.
