Workshop on “Cloud Infrastructure and Security”

PHCET > Comp Seminars & Workshops > Workshop on “Cloud Infrastructure and Security”

In recent years, cloud computing has become on-demand with the availability of computer system resources, especially in data storage and computing data. The term cloud computing is mostly used to describe data centres that are available to users over the internet. The central server usually has distributions over multiple areas. Cloud computing is now available both for the enterprise and the public domain. Cloud security is the protection of data stored online via cloud computing platforms from theft, leakage and deletion. Methods of providing cloud security include firewalls, penetration testing, obfuscation, tokenization, virtual private networks (VPN) and avoiding public internet connections. The Cloud infrastructure is made up of several components, each integrated with one another into a single architecture supporting business operations. A typical solution may be composed of hardware, virtualization, storage and networking components.
