Department of Civil Engineering conducted webinar on “Green Building and Sustainability” on Thursday, 14th May, 2020 at 4 p.m. Total 100 participants from Melbourne (Australia), Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Chhattisgarh, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Amravati, Pune, Nashik, Akola, Bhandara, Chandrapur, Nagpur, Thane Navi Mumbai and Mumbai participated in this webinar.

The objective of the webinar was to provide an insight into revolutionary ideas of green building and sustainability. Mr. Bhavesh Mehta, (Deputy General Manager, Engineering Design at Reliance Industries Limited, Navi Mumbai) is Core committee member of Confederation of Indian Industries, Indian Green Building Council, Mumbai chapter was invited as a resource person. Mr. Bhavesh Mehta delivered a seminar on green building and sustainability and also explained about availability of huge potential for the green building industry for the fresh engineers after their graduation for becoming entrepreneurs. At the end question-answer session was conducted on green building and sustainability. The webinar was fruitful as the participants gained new innovative ideas of designs and techniques of green buildings.
