Webinar on “Gender Equality”

Internal Complain Committee (ICC) Cell at Mahatma Education Society’s Pillai’s HOC College of Engineering & Technology, Rasayani, has conducted Webinar on ‘Gender Equality’ on 9th April, 2022.

Objective of this webinar was to spread awareness about Gender Equality among students and faculty members. Mr. Suresh Gudpe (Deputy General Manager – Contracts at JMC Projects (India) Limited), Keynote Speaker of this webinar has given a brief overview of Gender Equality. He has explained how gender equality prevents violence against women and girls. It’s essential for economic prosperity. Societies that value women and men as equal are safer and healthier. Gender equality is a human right. Everyone benefits from gender equality. The session concluded with an interactive session between the resource persons and the participants in which the queries of the participants were addressed satisfactorily.
