Pillai HOC College of Engineering and Technology, Department of Computer Engineering third year students organized a Teachers’ Day celebration to honour and express gratitude to their teachers for their invaluable contributions, on 04th September, 2024. The event provided an opportunity for students to recognize the dedication of the faculty and celebrate the bond between teachers and students.

The program commenced with an opening speech by the Principal Dr. J. W. Bakal, Head of the Department Ms. Rohini Bhosale, MCA coordinator Dr. Rajashree Gadhave and faculty members were invited to speak and share their experiences. They highlighted the importance of mentorship and the rewarding journey of being a teacher.

The celebration started with a heartfelt welcome speech by the student representatives, emphasizing the pivotal role teachers play in shaping the future. The event featured a variety of activities, including speeches, performances, and the presentation of tokens of appreciation to the faculty members.

Students performed cultural acts including dances, songs, and skits, all dedicated to the teachers. These performances created a lively and joyful atmosphere, reflecting the appreciation students have for their mentors. Fun games were organized where teachers participated together, fostering a sense of unity and camaraderie. Towards the end of the event, students presented small tokens of appreciation to each teacher, expressing their heartfelt thanks for the continuous support and guidance.
