The Department of Computer Engineering organized the Student Development Program – NEOTECH 2025 on September 25, 2025, at the Engineering Building.The event began with an inauguration ceremony that included lamp lighting and banner unveiling, marking the formal commencement of the day. The dignitaries were welcomed with Tulsi pots as a gesture of gratitude.
Following the inauguration, an enlightening seminar on Prompt Engineering was conducted by Dr. Yogesh Jadhav, the invited resource person. Dr. Yogesh Jadhav explained the fundamentals of prompt creation, its applications in AI-driven systems, and effective techniques for designing context-aware prompts.After the seminar, students participated in a Prompt Engineering Competition, where they were given real-world problem statements to solve using their knowledge from the seminar.
Alongside the technical events, several non-technical activities were conducted to encourage engagement and teamwork. These included UNO, Free Fire, BGMI, Valorant,Logo designing and Robo Racing. Among these, BGMI was held online, while the other games took place on campus. The events were open to inter-college and school participants, attracting enthusiastic participation and healthy competition.Throughout the day, judges evaluated the participants and ensured smooth coordination of all events. The SDP was proudly sponsored by Prof. Rahul Kapse through his company Reva Technologies, which also provides internship opportunities for students.The day concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, where winners from all categories were awarded trophies, certificates, and cash prizes. The event proved to be a remarkable blend of learning and fun, strengthening both the technical competence and team spirit of students.
