Introduction:
A workshop on pedagogy initiatives among faculty in PHCET was organised by Principle Dr. Madhumita Chatterjee to increase effectiveness of teaching learning process. Dr. Priam Pillai, Dr. Anil Bhardwaj, Dr. Amit Das Gupta were keynote speakers at the workshop. The theme for the workshop was faculty development workshop. The purpose of workshop was to train faculty members for effective delivery of curriculum.

Nowadays outcome based education and student centred teaching based on ICT tools has gained popularity among teachers.

The programme was intended to enrich the faculty members from all departments in order to prepare them to excel in their profession. Around 26 Faculty members from Department of mechanical Engineering attended the program.

All teachers were benefited by the workshop and all were happy to learn some techniques which are helpful for delivering effective curriculum.
