Event Objective:

  • To introduce participants to the fundamentals of UML (Unified Modeling Language) and its importance in software design and development.
  • To provide hands-on experience in creating UML diagrams such as Use Case, Class, and Sequence diagrams for real-world applications.

Event Outcome:

  • Participants will be able to understand and apply UML concepts to model software systems effectively.
  • They will gain practical skills in creating and interpreting various UML diagrams for analysis and design.
  • Participants will improve their ability to plan, visualize, and communicate system architecture in real-world projects.

Department of Computer Engineering organized a workshop on UML Designing on February 12, 2026. Total 80 students attended the program. This hands-on workshop conducted by Prof. Rahul Kapse, Head of Information Technology Department. He has given the knowledge about how to design the UML for projects. Sir has covered all UML diagrams. This workshop conducted at conclave-2

Points Covered in the Workshop:

  • Introduction to UML (Unified Modeling Language) and its significance in software development.
  • Overview of UML building blocks: elements, relationships, and diagrams.
  • Understanding different UML diagrams such as Use Case, Class, Sequence, and Activity diagrams.
  • Hands-on practice in designing UML diagrams for real-world scenarios.
  • Techniques for system analysis, visualization, and documentation using UML tools.
  • Best practices for applying UML in software design and project planning.
