Event Objective :
The objective of this event was to promote environmental awareness and creativity among students by encouraging them to create impactful short video reels on themes related to sustainability and green living.
Event Outcome :
Students gained awareness of sustainable practices and developed the ability to communicate environmental messages effectively through digital content creation.
Description of Event:
The IGBC Student Chapter at Pillai HOC College of Engineering and Technology (PHCET), Rasayani, successfully organized a Reel Making Competition on 29 January 2025 (Wednesday) as part of the Harit Prem Bharat Mahotsav celebrations held from 27th January to 31st January 2025.
A total of 7 enthusiastic participants from the Civil, Mechanical, and Computer Engineering departments showcased their creativity through engaging and informative reels centered on themes of sustainability and environmental consciousness.
The participants highlighted key messages on topics such as:
- Conserve Water for a Brighter Future
- Ditch Plastic, Embrace Nature
- The 3Rs Revolution: Reuse, Reduce, Recycle
- Clean and Green India
- End Pollution, Start Solutions
- Go Solar, Save the Planet
- Cherish Nature: Care Today, Thrive Tomorrow
- Conserve Energy, Brighten the Future
These short reels effectively conveyed powerful messages, inspiring both peers and the community to adopt sustainable and eco-friendly practices.

The event received valuable support from the esteemed jury members—Dr. G. V. Bakal, Principal, for his continuous encouragement and support, which greatly contributed to the event’s success.
The competition concluded on a positive note, motivating students to blend creativity with environmental responsibility.
