Department of Electronics and Computer Science organized an Orientation for SE, TE, and BE students on July 14, 2025 at 11:00 AM in Conclave-I. The primary aim of the orientation program was to make aware the students with the revised Syllabus and Examination Scheme in accordance with the NEP (National Education Policy) Autonomous Norms.
The session commenced with a warm welcome and introduction of the objectives of the orientation. Principal, Dr. J. W. Bakal addressed the students, highlighting the importance of newly implemented NEP – National Education Policy and its impact on academic planning and learning outcomes. Dr. Mansi Subhedar, HoD provided the detailed briefing on the continuous internal evaluation (CIE) and end-semester examination (ESE) patterns. She placed more emphasis on the Evaluation System – Autonomous Scheme, Eligibility for Appearing in the Examination, Review Process, and Supplementary & Backlog Exams. Dr. Mansi Subhedar also highlighted the critical role of attendance, module tests, and the preliminary examination in enhancing students’ overall performance and boosting the CGPA. Additionally, she presented the tentative Academic Calendar for the current academic year, giving students a clear roadmap of important academic events and timelines. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A segment, during which students’ queries related to the curriculum, evaluation methods, and examination processes were addressed and clarified.
