Center for Invention, Innovation and Incubation (CIII), Kharghar is one of the four such Centers being built by Science and Technology Park, Pune and Tata Technologies with an aim to provide high end facilities and support to Engineers, promoting the spirit of Entrepreneurship and supporting technology Start-ups.
The main objectives of CIII Centers will be to:

- Promote technology start-ups
- Provide high end industrial training to increase chances of good quality jobs
- Provide co-working space for young entrepreneurs
- Provide strong mentorship to those who want to invent new products and also to those who want to setup their own companies
The CIII will also be a platform for innovation and R&D, not just for new innovators and startup companies, but also for local industries and SMEs to extend their R&D activities, whereby reducing their cost and space requirements for undertaking R&D activities and to overcome their business challenges. The centre thus becomes a shared R&D facility for all local industries and enables them to develop new products and service offerings in the market.
