Speaker Profile: Mr. Yusuf Baig, Internal Auditor and Management Representative NEPL Holdings Limited Khopoli, possess M.Tech. in Manufacturing from Anna University and Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Mumbai University. Sir is pursuing MBA in Operations from ITM University. Sir has vast experience of more than 10 years and worked as various post of Quality Engineer, Auditor etc. Prof. Aamir Shaikh introduced the Speaker and Session started.

Expert Talk:
Speaker started the session with awareness of industry requirements and challenges. Sir explained about the scenario of syllabus and what should be done by each and every students to meet the market requirements. Sir explained the corporate culture and importance of dedication in every aspect. Various equipment’s handled by industry has to be managed, tested and dispatched with proper protocol to be followed.

Sir has explained that opportunities are more in manufacturing industries. The operating temperature will be more than 45 degrees and 24 hours production of materials is in process. Special materials are required for any kind of manufacturing industries and need equal manpower where an Engineer can easily grab the requirement. Sir also explained that Mechanical, Electrical and Civil are work of field and has to be planned accordingly. Mental stress management is key in engineering education. With positive thinking and attitude an Engineer can solve all the problems.

This expert session has great impact on students as well as faculties as how the gap between industry and academics can be bridged and to deal with it as well as planning of future.

Total 70 participants have attended the session and all have given positive feedback and requested to conduct such session in future also. Prof. Ronita Pawn Mam concluded the session with vote of thanks to Speaker and Heads of Institution.
