The Civil Engineering Department has celebrated Engineer’s Day on 19th September, 2024 in honor of Dr. M. Visvesvaraya, a True Gem of India and to remember the best of Engineers we ever had. “Engineers’ Day” is celebrated every year in the country to commemorate the birthday of the legendary engineer Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, an eminent Indian engineer.

The Objective of Celebrating Engineers Day for students was to celebrate the achievements of future engineers, nurture interest in the field, and provide valuable educational and networking opportunities to shape the future generation of engineers.
A Debate Competition was organized for undergraduate students on the topic “Can Eco-friendly materials replace traditional materials in Construction ?”. This time a new initiative was started to felicitate the Internal Assessment IA 1 toppers with Certificates to motivate the students for their performance and dedication.
The General Quiz game was kept for Faculty and Students to identify the movie name. A cheerful welcome in the Civil Engineering Department was done to all Direct Second Year Students.
