its annual social service and community welfare activities. The camp was conducted under the guidance of the NSS Programme Officer, with active participation from NSS volunteers, students, teaching & non-teaching staff members.

The primary objective of the camp was to promote voluntary blood donation and create awareness about its importance in saving lives. The initiative encouraged a sense of social responsibility among students and supported healthcare institutions in meeting the constant demand for safe blood supply.

The camp commenced at around 9:00 a.m. and continued until 4:00 p.m. Proper arrangements were made for registration, medical screening, blood collection, and post- donation care. NSS volunteers assisted in coordinating the event, guiding donors, and maintaining discipline, while medical professionals ensured donor safety through necessary
health check-ups.

A total of 140 blood bags were successfully collected during the camp, reflecting strong commitment and enthusiastic participation. The Blood Donation Camp proved to be a meaningful and impactful activity, demonstrating the spirit of selfless service and humanitarian values upheld by the NSS Unit.
