The Training and Placement Committee (TPC) of Pillai HOC College of Engineering and Technology (PHCET) successfully organized a Placement Orientation Session for the final-year students of the Electronics and Computer Science Department on Monday, 22nd July 2025. The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 180 students, who attended with great interest and attentiveness. The primary objective of the orientation was to prepare students for the upcoming campus recruitment season by offering comprehensive insights into the placement process, outlining expectations, and providing a strategic framework for effective preparation.

The session was led by Ms. Divya Nair, the esteemed Training and Placement Officer (TPO) of PHCET. With her extensive experience and in-depth understanding of industry recruitment trends, Ms. Nair delivered an insightful and engaging presentation that covered key aspects of the campus placement journey. Her address focused on several crucial topics, including:

  • Effective preparation strategies for technical assessments, aptitude tests, and HR interviews
  • A detailed explanation of the do’s and don’ts during various stages of the recruitment process
