Hands on Workshop on “Latex Programming”

Department of ECS, Pillai HOC College of Engineering and Technology (PHCET), Rasayani in association with the IETE Students Forum organized “A One-day Hands-on workshop on Latex Programming”.

A total of 22 students participated in this workshop. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Jayesh Rane, Assistant Professor of the EXTC Department. Students actively participated in the workshop, where they learned how to prepare project reports, thesis, and IEEE paper formats using Latex. It is essential for students to know how to work on various platforms available for documentation purpose.

Workshop covered following points:

• Document Structure, Packages
• Text Formatting
• Bullets and Numbering
• Sectioning and Chapters
• Mathematical Typeset
• Working with Images
• Report / Thesis

Workshop ended with question and answers session followed by vote of thanks by BE class representative Rajesh Potdar.
