वाचन प्रेरणा दिन

Event Objective : To inspire students by highlighting the vision, values, and achievements of A. P. J. Abdul Kalam and to motivate them towards innovation, discipline, and responsible nation-building.

The NSS Unit of PHCET celebrated the birth anniversary of A. P. J. Abdul Kalam on 15 October 2025 at around 1:00 p.m. in the college library of PHCET under the theme “वाचन प्रेरणा दिन” as part of its educational and value-based initiatives. The program was conducted under the guidance of the NSS Programme Officer.

The event aimed to promote the habit of reading among students and to highlight the importance of knowledge in personal and national development. It focused on inspiring students to follow the ideals of Dr. Kalam, especially his emphasis on education, innovation, discipline, and hard work as the foundation of success.

Students assembled in the library where they were briefed about the significance of Vachan Prerna Din and the life and contributions of Dr. Kalam. The activities included reading sessions, sharing of inspirational thoughts, and discussions on his vision for youth empowerment and nation-building, encouraging students to adopt reading as a lifelong habit.

The celebration was a meaningful initiative reflecting the commitment of the NSS Unit toward intellectual growth and character development. Such programs play a vital role in nurturing responsible, informed, and motivated individuals. The NSS Unit plans to continue organizing similar activities to strengthen the culture of reading and learning in the future.
