The workshop on PCB Designing jointly organized by IEI Student’s Chapter of Department of Electrical Engineering commenced at 9.30 a.m. in the software lab.

On 15th September, 2017, the first session of expert talk started at 9.30 a.m. by Prof. Pratik Mhatre. He started with introduction of PCB Designing, Benefits of the workshop and its applications. He explained Schematic Design of Circuit on software and pointers to make precise schematic design. The afternoon session of Hardware started at 1:15 p.m., where the participants provided with laboratory sessions where they were provided with tools to make PCBs.
The workshop was aimed to provide knowledge about simulation tool to test electronics & electrical circuit in software environment and to make physical PCB at home so that any student can make project on his own. 40 students have participated in the workshop.
Each participant was involved in etching process on a laminated copper sheet provided to them, they also underwent for drilling process using a Hand driller and finally assembling and soldering the electrical components onto board.
