The One Day workshop was organized by Department of Electrical Engineering and it commenced at 10:00 a.m. on 6th August, 2016 in the Skill Develoment Lab, Architecture. Prof. Aamir Shaikh introduced the speaker Mr. R.D More, M.E. in Electrical Engineering having vast experience in the field. The Head of the Department, Mr. Asokan S. felicitated the speaker.

The speaker enlightened all the participants with the importance of Electrical Wiring. The workshop was specially organized for enhancing skills of all the Lab technicians of Pillai HOCL Campus. The aim of this event is to provide a basic understanding of Electrical Wiring. The session began with basic essential topics of which are core parts of Electrical Engineering course. Wiring tool kits were used for hands on session. Afternoon session consisted where all technicians were given a clear idea of the Wiring safety and Precautions. The session was concluded with a question answer session at 4:30 p.m.
Faculty members also co-ordinated to conduct the workshop successfully. There were around 23 participants for the event of Electrical Wiring. Also a feedback session was taken from all the participants.
