Online Parent-Teacher meeting was organized by the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering on 26th March, 2022, at 11.00 a.m. on the Google meet platform.
Dr. Mansi Subhedar, head of the department, started the meeting with a warm welcome to the parents. She introduced all class coordinators to the parents and informed them about the Departmental activities. She also mentioned the management concern and the efforts taken by the department for offline lectures.
Each class Coordinator Introduced the subject in-charges and briefed them about class activities. They explained to parents the importance of offline lectures and facilities given by the institute to the students for attending lectures in offline mode. After that attendance and results of the IA 1 were conveyed to the parents.
Training and Placement Cell Coordinator Ms. Priya Tambe briefed on training and placement cell activities. She also showed the placement record of the previous academic year. She also requested parents to motivate their ward for doing internships during vacation. She made parents aware of different internship opportunities which are easily available for SE and TE students.
Parents also interacted with the faculty members and asked their doubts regarding IA results, attendance, assignments, lectures, practical and final examination, etc.
The meeting was closed with a vote of thanks on behalf of the department. Parents reported their feedback in the form of appreciating the efforts taken by the institutes and departments for their ward’s bright future.
