Bio data: An engineering doctorate degree with sound academic credentials in various engineering disciplines and varied and rich professional experience of over 34 years, in the delivery of maritime engineering projects beginning with conceptualization. These included port and harbor, ship building and repairs major project delivery The responsibilities have included Ship Operations, Marine Infrastructure Development Project Conceptualization, Consultancy, DPR, Project Sanction, Environmental & Other Clearances, Tendering, Contracting using FIDIC & other forms, Project Coordination/Monitoring, Testing/ trials and Dispute resolution through Conciliation/Arbitration..
The session started with welcoming and introducing the speaker by Prof. R. C. Prasad. He shared his valuable experience and his journey with the students and he gave insights on different materials for naval applications. Session ended with vote of thanks by Dr. G. V. Patil
