PHCET Library is one of the important central facilities of the Pillai HOC Educational Campus serving to the information needs of faculty, research scholars and students in Engineering. The library has created a learning environment by establishing Online Public Access Catalogue Searching Area, Digital library for accessing e-resources, Laptop zone with Wi-Fi facility and specialized areas like discussion rooms, reference section for users, etc. We feel happy to help users with our information sources and services in achieving their academic distinctions.

The main objective is to make Library the most effective Learning Resource Centre to contribute to the quality of higher education.

e-ShodhSindhu is Consortia for Higher Education E-Resources. PHCET has joined the consortium by becoming the member.

As instructed by them PHCET requested for e-resources. But unfortunately the requested e-resources were not negotiated. Hence, they were subscribed individually.

As per our communications with Shodhganga Inflibnet, membership is required for uploading thesis to repository. Since it is an open access, anybody can refer it without membership. If colleges would like to upload doctoral thesis they may directly send it to Shodhganga or forward it through the affiliated university. We use it for referring and uploading the thesis. Recently Shodhganga published on its website that the membership is not for colleges.
