The student council of the Department of Information Technology organized “Alumni Meet 2022”, a Programme to facilitate, consolidate and coordinate Alumni Activities on 12th March, 2022. Alumni Meet is a gathering of passed out students of an institution and it is a place where the institution feels proud on seeing its successful alumni. During their meet, the alumni community shares their experience in the outside world, which they faced after stepping out of the institution. Alumni meet helps to reconnect with the alumni and celebrate their success and various achievements.

The occasion was graced by around 120 alumni ranging across various batches from various parts of the country. They were all working in different fields and had a good interaction among their peers and also with their juniors. They gave suggestions on how to look for jobs after graduation and also told about the importance of courses which would help them while searching for jobs. Students asked many questions regarding placements and the alumni shared their views. All were happy to meet their teachers and had a wonderful time cherishing their college days.
Feedback was also collected from alumni regarding the organizational aspects of the Meet and their suggestions for improvement in professional training at PHCET. The Alumni Meet closed at a very emotional note. However, everyone appreciated the efforts by the student council in organizing the Meet. Everyone departed with the resolve to meet again and spread the message amongst all who could not visit this time.
