Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering organized One Day Industrial Visit to “Giant Metrewave Radio Telescope (GMRT)” on 28th February, 2015, Narayangaon, Maharashtra, India. Astronomers from all over the world regularly use this telescope to observe many different astronomical objects such as HII regions, galaxies, pulsars, supernovae and Sun and solar winds. Around 65 students (B.E. and M.E.) and 3 faculty members visited the satellite station.
