Guest Lecture was organized by Department of Training & Placement on 23rd February, 2018 in the Conclave Hall-I at 2:30 p.m. Prof. Aamir Shaikh introduced the speaker Mr. Ankush Pawar, Managing Director, JBS Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. has been working in Electrical Engineering field for the last Twelve years and is a known figure in contract of electrical works. He is an entrepreneur and has 249 staff working under his supervision.

The guest speaker gave an extensive speech on opportunities for electrical engineering freshers students in transmission line, distribution and maintenance. The speech was centered on “Placements” in government sector jobs which can be achieved by other means that is working in core area for 02-03 years and based on that experience students can apply for higher post job in various electricity boards of our country.

Sir explained for becoming an entrepreneur we have to be well experience & knowledge in specific technical field. Once the system requirements is understood, then it is easy to become an entrepreneur. Sir shared his experience in contract licence. How to make contract licence and appear for Audit exam. Students were aware of Energy audit exam and an option of career.

The session was concluded with a question answer session at 4:00 p.m. Faculty members also co-ordinated to conduct the guest lecture successfully. There were around 50 participants and Training & Placement staff.
