The Applied Sciences and Humanities (ASH) Department serves as the foundational backbone of technical education, integrating core scientific principles with essential humanistic skills to shape well-rounded engineers. It encompasses disciplines such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English, and Professional Communication, providing students with the analytical thinking, scientific reasoning, and interpersonal competencies required for advanced engineering coursework and industry readiness. By bridging fundamental sciences with human values, ethics, and communication, the department not only strengthens students’ conceptual understanding but also nurtures critical thinking, creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities—ensuring they evolve into technically skilled, socially responsible, and industry-aligned engineering professionals.
