A 5-Day AICTE sponsored Faculty Development Programme on “Emerging Trends in Cyber Security and Digital Forensics” was conducted from 4th to 9th December, 2023 in which around 50 participants from different colleges were participated. The inauguration was held on 4th December, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. Keynote Speaker for the program was Dr. Bernard Menezes Professor, IIT Bombay and Dr. Virendra Singh, IIT Bombay. There were many eminent speakers from top academic institutions like IIT Bombay, D Y Patil Deemed University, D. J. Sanghvi College of Engineering and industry experts from top industries delivered expert talks during various sessions of the program who delivered the speech on trends in cyber security and digital forensics. Principal, Dr. J. W. Bakal addressed the participant’s about FDP and various initiatives taken by Pillai HOC college of Engineering, Ms. Rohini Bhosale, Head of the Dept, Computer Engineering talked about CSE Department Roles and Responsibility in our college. Dr. Rajashree Gadhave, Co-Coordinator, proposed the Vote of Thanks.

The objective of this FDP is to provide participants with practical skills so that they may teach their students to recognize problems and difficulties in cyber security and offer potential solutions. The FDP aims to increase participants’ understanding of the value of cyber security in the current digital era and to defend online attacks at individual as well as organizational level.
